Sparex USA Terms, Conditions and Warranty

Payment Terms

2% 10, Net End of Month - A 2% discount is granted to payments made within 10 days from date of Statement on current invoices. Statements are generated on the 1st day of each month and payment is due on the last day of each month. Accounts reaching 60 days past due will be placed on COD. Interest will be charged at a rate of 1.5% per month (18% APR). A fee of $40.00 will be charged for any NSF check. Accounts turned over to a collection agency for failure to pay outstanding balances will be held liable for the cost of collections, including attorney’s fees.

Credit Cards

(Visa, MasterCard, Discover only). Call 800-443-6472 to set up an account. The 2% discount for payments made within 10 days does not apply to credit card purchases.

Freight Terms

Freight is prepaid and shipped with carriers of our choice on orders of $750.00 or more. Accounts must be current. Freight will NOT be prepaid if the account is past due at the time of the order. We are unable to accept special requests for Freight Collect/Third Party Billing with UPS/FEDEX. Additional charges on truck freight orders incurred due to residential, P.O. Box addresses or special requirements, including FREE FREIGHT orders, are the responsibility of the customer.


Returns will be accepted under the following conditions only, and all returns must have an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) assigned:

Shipping Errors – Parts and Freight will be credited. Sparex must be notified of shipping errors within 7 business days

Warranty – Parts and Freight will be credited according to our warranty terms.

Ordered in Error or Overstock – Requests for returns will be considered on an individual basis. All of these returns are subject to restocking and repackaging charges. The freight charges are paid by the customer. Purchase invoice number must be referenced. In no case will more than 5% of previous year’s purchases be credited.

No cash refunds on returned parts - Credit will be applied to the customers’ account after receipt and verification of parts returned. Returns will be subjected to a 15% restocking charge.

All returns must have an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization).

To receive an RMA contact customer service at (800) 443-6472 or visit our website at You must provide the Sparex Part Number and Invoice Number that the part was purchased on. Only part numbers listed on the RMA will be credited. Returned parts not listed on the RMA will not be credited and either returned at the customers expense or scrapped. Returns are sent freight prepaid ONLY to the Ohio warehouse (Sparex Inc., 190 Lena Drive, Aurora, OH 44202) and the box must be clearly marked with the RMA number. Credit memo will be issued after parts are received and inspected by Sparex.

Damaged Shipments & Shortages

It is important that all shipments be checked for damage upon receipt and if evidence of such, have the driver record and sign both copies of freight bill. You should notify Sparex within 2 days of product receipt with detailed information and pictures of the damaged shipment. Do not destroy packaging until inspection by carrier’s agent. SHORTAGES MUST BE REPORTED TO SPAREX WITHIN 2 DAYS. Sparex will NOT be responsible for damage to Rims delivered via UPS or FedEx. Any damage or shortage due to shipping when customer’s carrier of choice is used cannot be considered our responsibility.


Backorders will be filled as soon as merchandise is received by Sparex, unless canceled by the customer. Orders canceled after shipment has been made will be subject to freight charges.

Phone Orders

Sparex will not accept responsibility for accuracy of phone orders unless confirmed in writing. We encourage you to order online if possible.

Drop Shipments

No extra handling charge for drop shipments. Additional charges on truck freight orders incurred due to shipments to residential addresses, PO Boxes or special handling, including free freight orders, are the responsibilty of the customer.

General Warranty

Sparex Inc. warranties most items distributed by them to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from date of purchase. Sparex Inc. reserves the right to inspect any item prior to granting warranty. We pledge our support in obtaining settlement of reasonable and justifiable claims. Sparex Inc. will not assume any responsibility for loss of time, labor or crop for any warranted parts. Warranty does not extend beyond the point of installation. It is the installing mechanics responsibility to check components before and during installation. When a 3rd party is involved in installation of Sparex parts, only the product is warranted.

Items not covered by Sparex Inc standard one-year warranty:

Electrical (Starters, Alternators & Coils) – Electrical warranty is 90 days from date of installation. Electrical parts are warranted only against manufacturers defect.

Seats – Sparex Inc offers only a limited warranty on our "economy" seat range.

Spindles & Front Supports – These parts are NOT covered by warranty when installed on tractors with loaders.

Hydraulic Pumps –Returned Hydraulic Pumps will be checked by our technical department. Any pump found with contamination inside will not be warranted. Any pump found with a blown seal due to incorrect installation or rotation in the wrong direction will not be warranted. Any pump found to have been taken apart will not be warranted unless done so with prior authorization.

Pistons, Rings or Liners – ordered without the overhaul kit are not warranted since we cannot be assured of the quality of your other components

Paint – Sparex Inc. does not control the application of its products nor the condition of the surfaces to which they are applied. Sparex Inc. offers the following limited warranty – we guarantee your satisfaction with the performance of this product when applied on a properly prepared surface according to the label directions. Custom colors are not returnable.
